Seminar on Evolution of Groundwater System in Large-size River Basins
?
The overexploitation of groundwater in the North-China Plain has become a worldwide concern. Pertaining to this, Geological Society of China decides to convene this international seminar with the theme of the process and problem of the groundwater system evolution in the large-size basins all over the world in the past decades, in combination with the National Basic Research Project of China “the evolution mechanism and the adjustment of the groundwater in North-China Plain”. The GSC wants to invite those experts and scholars in groundwater academia to jointly discuss the groundwater adjustment methods and hopefully yield advices and solutions on the sustainable utilization of the groundwater in the North-China Plain.
